Design That Connects: Vinoti’s Showcase at JIA Curated 2025

As the vibrant adventure that was JIA Curated 2025 draws to a close, we’re taking a moment to share what it felt like to be part of something bigger—where collaboration, stories, and design come alive in the heart of Bali’s wild beauty.

A Place Like No Other: Bali Festival Park

This year, the festival unfolded across the hauntingly beautiful Bali Festival Park in Sanur, a former theme park reclaimed by nature—overgrown, weathered, with an enchanting “Indiana Jones” vibe that set a striking backdrop for immersive design and cultural exploration. It’s precisely this wild, poetic setting that deepened our connection to the theme of the festival: Evolving Perspectives, a tribute to adaptability, diversity, and creative renewal.

Sundara: A Tribute to Bali’s Natural Beauty

At the heart of our showcase was the Sundara Series, a collaboration between Hospitality by VIVERE and 2M Design Lab. But Sundara wasn’t just another collection—it was a love letter to Bali’s landscapes and textures. Each piece in the series draws from the island’s elemental beauty, fusing organic materials like wood, rope, and handcrafted finishes with a sleek, modern sensibility. It’s design that breathes, rooted deeply in place and feeling.

Consider how each set brings Bali’s natural rhythms indoors:

  • Pasih (Outdoor Set): echoes Bali’s serene coastlines with modular designs and calming curves.
  • Bingin (Living Room Set): built around the strength and gathering spirit of the banyan tree.
  • Tukad (Dining Room Set): inspired by flowing water—crafting spaces that are both fluid and inviting, inside and out.
  • Mandala (Bedroom Set): inspired by the sacred stillness of Bali’s mountains, with intricate layers that invite mindfulness and rest.

Together, these pieces felt like extensions of the island itself—welcoming, grounded, and ever-present.

Karuun: A Sustainable Material, A Shared Vision

Right beside Sundara, we introduced Karuun, VIVERE Group’s innovative rattan veneer. It spoke of transformation, lifting a humble natural material into a refined surface that’s both beautiful and responsibly crafted.

More than just a material, Karuun supported us as part of the booth itself. Its translucent quality, when paired with lighting, created a warm glow that perfectly matched the booth’s concept. This subtle play of light and texture tied the entire showcase together, bringing sustainability, atmosphere, and storytelling into one cohesive experience.

In the spirit of JIA’s communal ethos, Karuun highlighted how materials—and the stories they carry—can spark new conversations in design.

Carrying the Momentum Forward

To everyone who stopped by—thank you. Thank you for slowing down, leaning in, and feeling with us. As the jungle light began to dim over that enchanted park, Sundara and Karuun felt more than objects; they felt like chapters in a living story.

We leave JIA Curated carrying its pulse: design that’s collaborative, rooted, and always evolving.
